Chapter GPA (6 points)
- How to earn points:
- 3 points for spring or fall chapter average GPA at or above 3.0
- 2 points for spring or fall chapter average GPA at or above 2.75
- 1 point for spring or fall chapter average GPA at or above 2.50
- 0 points for spring or fall chapter average GPA below 2.49
- Due Date: End of each semester
- How to Submit: OSFL will track GPA data for each chapter
New Member GPA Per Year (6 points)
- How to earn points:
- 6 points for new member chapter average GPA at or above 3.0
- 4 points for new member chapter average GPA at or above 2.75
- 1 point for new member chapter average GPA at or above 2.50
- 0 points for new member chapter average GPA below 2.49
- Due Date: End of each semester
- How to Submit: OSFL will track GPA data for each chapter
Chapter Academic/Scholarship Program (8 points)
- How to earn points:
- Submit Excellence in Scholarship Ritter Award application.
- Provide a written document that outlines an academic/scholarship program or plan. Program should describe individual membership requirements, incentives, programs, academic goals, absences, and the job description of the academic officer for the chapter. Documentation may include how a chapter utilizes a national academic/scholarship program designed or provided by their organization.
- 8 points for on-time submission with all content provided.
- 3 points for on-time submission with missing content.
- 2 points for late submission (within 14 days) with all content provided.
- 1 point for late submission (after 14 days) and missing content.
- 0 points for not submitting the application and program.
- Additional points may be awarded for Academic Chair Meeting attendance.
- Due Date: Ongoing until Ritter Award applications close.
